I'm going to need to find a better way to organize my notes because so many people can my school notebook and I wouldn't want teachers to think I was cheating. I thought about purchasing another school notebook at the bookstore but then it would look just like my magic notebook and I wouldn't want to confuse the two! I wonder if we'll get a chance to go into town, then maybe I can get a notebook at one of the general stores. I wouldn't want to leave campus without permission because then I might get in trouble and I'd hate for that to happen my first week here! I've already run into Ian and a few other students and tripped trying to get out of my desk in one of my classes.

I saw another student sneaking into his room with a big keg of alcohol and the student handbook says we're not supposed to have any alcohol or drugs or anything like that in our rooms! I don't know how one person could drink that much alcohol before it went bad so I think he's going to have a party, but we're not supposed to have parties without permission from the school and I haven't seen anything posted in our dorm about a party. Maybe I should tell someone because I don't want to get in trouble in the first week if there's a party and they didn't have permission. What if they lowered our curfew or put us on suspension even if we didn't participate? That wouldn't be good at all!
